Job description:

This leading Financial Software Development organisation working on behalf of some of the worlds leading, global investment banks is actively seeking an experienced Senior ASP.Net Developer with experience of ASP.Net, C# and MVC to join their expanding team based in London (The City).

The successful Senior ASP.Net Developer will have: strong, proven experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC 2/3, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery and SQL Server 2005/2008 (with related technologies).  In addition you will be:

a brilliant coder (or so your colleagues say) and you're passionate about your craft.
the type of person to take ownership of a project and run with it.
the type of person who loves working with Web technologies.

Your role will involve working in a team of experienced .Net Developers, building a suite of .Net based financial products and bespoke software for their very impressive portfolio of clients.  You will be:

gathering and analysing requirements,
designing apps and components,
developing and maintaining new and existing apps,
designing databases,
deploying, monitoring and supporting apps in production, and
finding ways of doing all those things better

It's an interesting and challenging role that lets you get involved in all aspects of our software development projects throughout the entire SDLC.
