Job description:

This fast moving Digital company based in Watford is seeking an experienced LAMP Web Developer to join their experienced Development Team.

The successful PHP Web Developer will have experience of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.

You will also have a good understanding of object oriented software development,enthusiasm for creating good products, and the creativity to devise solutions to technical problems.

Main required experience:
Object oriented PHP 5 (2 years)
XHTML / CSS / Javascript (2 years)

Other required experience:
A PHP MVC framework – e.g. Agavi, Symfony2 A Javascript framework - e.g.
jQuery, Mootools
Apache2 administration on Linux

Preferred experience:
General Linux administration
Version Control - e.g. Subversion
SQL, ideally MySQL 5
ORM - e.g. Hibernate, Doctrine
Knowledge of web standards
