Job description:

This leading provider of web based applications is looking to recruit an experienced PHP web developer to bring depth knowledge to their team and help take on the maintenance of existing projects and our expanding portfolio of PHP web sites and PHP web applications.

The successful PHP Web Developer will have experience of seeing through a project from start to finish. You must be self-motivated and be able to show that you can work on your own initiative.

You will be working closely with a team of like minded PHP Developers to deliver high quality technical solutions to often challenging goals. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

You will have strong PHP web development in a commercial environment and will also be expected to use your initiative in implementing solutions that meet and exceed the requirements of the project.

The successful PHP Web Developer will have:

• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP
• A good knowledge of MySQL
• Experience using jQuery and/or other JavaScript libraries such as MooTools, YUI or Prototype
• Experience working and contributing in a team environment.
• Familiarity with version control system such as Subversion or Git
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
