- Our client, an Insurance Brokerage based near Watford, is looking for a Trainee Commercial Account Handler.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic to learn the insurance industry and wants to start their career at a progressive business in a dynamic team. Full on the training will be provided and ongoing insurance qualifications will be funded by the company.
Although not a direct client facing role, you will have enthusiasm about working with clients and delivering a great client experience.

Responsibilities of the role, full training will be provided:
No previous insurance experience is necessary, just enthusiasm to learn!
Administration of all commercial insurance policies including but not limited to, commercial combined, fleet, property owners, Directors and Officers policies and any other connected business.
Administration includes mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business enquiries and claims.
Administration support to the commercial Account Executives within the team.
All policy and claims servicing will be handled efficiently and effectively on a daily basis, on all aspects connected with servicing.
Ability to read and digest technical information and explain clearly to a client in a way which is pragmatic, appropriate and effective.
Preparation and delivery of insurer risk presentations and negotiations with providers, to secure the most appropriate cover for our clients
A high competence of regulatory compliance relating to the day to day handling of all business.
Work with a full understanding and ensure compliance with all company policies.
Good Microsoft Office systems knowledge, including excel. And qualifications:
You will be required to obtain your Cert CII qualification ASAP after joining the company
Employee Reward Scheme, Group Life, Income Protection, Pension and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Salary £20,000 PA increasing to £22,500 after a successful 3-month probation period. Hours: 9am - 5.30pm, Monday- Friday
