Clients do ask us to provide short-term cover and we are pleased to assist. We are not a “high street” agency, with walk in registrations and a temp pool. We are always happy to recommend other more generalist temp agencies that maybe better placed to assist.

Through open dialogue we keep clients fully informed. We know that some roles can be very specialist and we will look to reasons why there may be difficulties based upon our in-depth market knowledge. We can also look to work with other agencies on a client’s behalf. Our consultative approach will help determine why there may be difficulties.

Yes. Our experience shows that whilst this may seem a logical decision, in practice, this does not provide the best results. With competing agencies, quality standards can decline and keeping track of which agency has sent which candidate can prove very problematic. Additionally, this can affect an employer’s brand name as numerous potential job seekers are contacted by lots of agents. The agent’s fee will normally be much higher as work becomes duplicated. Our recommendation is to appoint an agency on an exclusive period of two weeks.

Within most Terms of Business, reference will be made to this very aspect. Our recommendation is to immediately inform the agency that the CV has already been received.

Managing offers of employment are an integral part of our activities and this can be a very sensitive time for all parties. A mismatch between perception and expectation can lead to an offer rejection resulting in the whole recruitment process starting again. We believe it is imperative for both client and candidate to have the trust in ourselves as the conduit, an aspect that is built throughout the process. We are not a sales based company looking for short-term gain, we are a consultancy who take pride securing the right people for positions. We respect the symbiotic relationship and understand the concerns that people may have in changing jobs.
Upon the initial successful verbal offer and acceptance, we look to the client issue contracts. Whilst we wish to keep in touch with candidates, we respect the fact that this is sometimes not welcome by clients.
We are pleased to give an undertaking that will never directly approach a person that we have successfully introduced to an employer.

Many of our clients look to confidentiality and ask that roles are not advertised. Within the recruitment process, clients may be running their own advertising campaign and we believe that any applicants, in the first instance, should progress directly from that advert response. Our skills are in identifying people outside of a client’s recruitment process.

We are able to offer a fully managed service and through our networks, we can provide a master vendor service, bringing together trusted agencies to help support the recruitment, which we would administer. We are able to offer response handling and to run full campaigns. We are happy to recommend companies that can assist with any artwork and can manage this on a client’s behalf.
