Salary: £38,000 - £44,000
Location: Fully Remote position
I am looking for a Senior Software Developer with in depth understanding of React/React Native. This role is fully remote however the correct candidate must be based in the UK.
The perfect Senior Software Developer will join a very established development team.
My client is proudly based in the North East, they research, design, and develop excellent digital products for some of the UK's most ambitious technology teams. My client values curiosity, integrity and good open communication so they look to work with clients who's team's values align well, to help them do their best work.
They thrive on shipping excellent products, but never at the cost of a healthy balance. They like process and best practice, but turn their nose up at bureaucracy. They love good communication, but can't be arsed with petty politics. They're building a team and a business they want to work in. Simple, open and flexible.
Agency is a tough business to get right... but nothing worth doing is ever easy. My client likes a challenge and they've spent the past 18+ years getting pretty damn good at it.
Senior Software Developer Requirements:
* A thorough understanding of React, Hooks and related development practices.
* A thorough understanding of State management solutions and how they function (e.g. MobX, Redux etc)
* Understanding of unit-testing JavaScript applications using Jest or similar.
* Demonstrative experience of publishing React Native apps onto Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.
Senior Software Developer Desirables:
* Understanding of the React Native bridge.
* Development experience with any of the following: Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, Xamarin/MAUI.
* An appreciation of Single Responsibility Principles, Clean Code, and/or knowledge of Design Patterns.
