Caretaker, Mill Hill, NW7 to 25k

Our client, a large primary school based in Mill Hill, NW7, is recruiting for a Caretaker.

We are looking for a Caretaker with a hands-on flexible approach and a can-do attitude to help keep the school well maintained and secure. The successful candidate will be presentable, take pride in your work and will build a good working relationship with staff and contractors. You may have previous experience as a caretaker or similar.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* With the team, to provide an efficient caretaking service for the school including the maintenance and security of the school premises and site
* To promote a safe working environment for pupils and staff
* To supervise evening and weekend lettings and ensure the building and grounds are secured afterwards

Ideally, the candidate would have:
* A warm, friendly manner
* A range of maintenance skills
* Good problem solving skills
* Previous caretaking experience
* Familiarity with a school environment
* An ability to work pro-actively both independently, and as part of a team

Hours: 36 hours per week

Start and finish time: 11am to 7 pm with breaks, or 12pm to 8pm (for lettings)

Some weekend working - Overtime available for weekend working
