- Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £24-26k
ITSS Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well established, family run business that was founded in the 80's who operate predominately across the South West of England and a currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Responsibilities:
- Entering GRN's to the ledger against purchase orders.
- Processing invoices against Purchase orders, having competency in checking prices/rates from the invoice to the purchase order.
- Contacting suppliers with invoice queries and following up on these queries.
- Reconciling purchase ledger balances with supplier statements.
- Sending invoices for authorisation and dealing with various departments within the Group.
- Printing invoices on a daily basis and preparing for posting to the ledger.
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger clerk role.
- Strong IT, numeracy and analytic skills, with great attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise and work efficiently, with a positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to build relationships, both with customers and operational managers, using excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn and develop.
- Able to work on own and as part of a small team.
