This is an exciting opportunity with an award winning e-commerce sales and marketing specialist as a Software Developer.
Main Duties
* Support and maintain software systems
* Develop and support bespoke applications and integration systems.
* Supporting database systems
* Maintain secure systems in alignment with PCI and DPA standards.
* Ensure change management processes are followed for system/software changes.
* Document IT systems and processes.
* Provide advice and support to other IT team members.
* Provide advice and support to other business areas and staff.
Essential skills
* Excellent knowledge of procedural programming
* Ability to develop and support programs and scripts written in C#/ASP
* Ability to support SQL Databases with a good understanding of structured query language.
* Ability to use Powershell, Visual Basic/Java and MSDOS to produce scripts and batch files.
* Ability to analyse business issues and provide technical solutions.
* Good project management.
* Good written communication
* Good time management organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable Skills
* Automate task automation software.
* Khaos business management software
* Sage 200 FMS
* Knowledge of Crystal Reports
* Knowledge of Web Service Integration
* Knowledge of standard IT infrastructure components such as Active Directory, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Switches, Windows Server, Windows Desktop etc.
