- Role: Management Accountant
Location: Leeds
Salary: £38-41k
Due to a growth in sales this year, our team is expanding, we are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our team, reporting into the Financial Controller.
Key responsibilities;
* Producing management accounts for multiple businesses
* Providing financial assistance to out-bases when needed
* Calculating and raising intercompany recharge invoices
* Ensuring stock prices reflect landed costs
* Ensuring foreign exchange liability is correctly hedged
* Assisting in the budgeting process for multiple business units
* Maintenance of the fixed asset register, calculating and posting of depreciation
* Posting and payment of expenses
* Bank reconciliations
* Gaining authorisation of overhead invoices coding and posting
* Posting journals
* Assisting with more complex stock invoice queries
* Reconciliation and maintenance of the invoice financing facility
* Overhead variance analysis
* Daily sales reporting
* Stock reporting
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Calculating prepayments and accruals
* Calculating customer and supplier rebates
The successful applicant will have:
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of team.
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing/wholesale/distribution industry.
* The ability to resolve queries.
* Good Excel skills
* Ability to prioritise workload.
* Ideally ACCA/CIMA part qualified
