- We are looking for a highly motivated Web Developer to join an exciting design agency with the head office in central Birmingham. This company has been working in the creative sector for over 30 years and have built up an excellent reputation.
They are looking for a Web Developer who is looking to progress their career.
The role will need someone to hit the ground running and have a lot of custom WordPress websites under their belt. The position will give the person autonomy to build sites from the start based on a Figma file right the way through to launch.
The role will be more front-end focused, but the applicant will need a working understanding of PHP.
Required skills and experience
Wordpress, building custom themes/templates
Headless CMS
Twig
Web markup, including HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
Sass, Gulp/Webpack and frameworks such as Tailwind
React/NextJS and GraphQL
DNS records
WHM and cPanel
SEO principles and how to implement code to good SEO best practices
Experience in an agency environment is essential
You will be an enthusiastic Web Developer, a good communicator and have a natural desire to create amazing digital solutions.
