We are seeking a dedicated Senior IT Support Technician to provide comprehensive technical assistance to external clients. As a Senior IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems and infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing effective solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Provide timely and efficient technical support to external clients via phone, email with occasional site visits.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
* Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
* Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
* Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation.
* Document technical procedures and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Azure is a must.
* Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
